Hotels that do not accept pets

Premier Inn does not allow pets in its German hotels, with the exception of assistance dogs. This applies to both Premier Inn München Airport Ost and Premier Inn München Airport Süd.

Dogs on the S-Bahn and MVV buses

On MVV trains and buses, which include the S1 and S8 to the airport and buses 512 and 635, one dog travels free with each passenger who holds a valid ticket or a Deutschlandticket. Each further dog needs a child ticket, and small dogs in a basket or bag travel free. All dogs must be kept on a short lead in vehicles and stations, and dogs that could endanger passengers must wear a muzzle. Dogs classed as dangerous under the Bavarian regulation on aggressive dogs may not enter vehicles or S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations. On regional trains, dogs not carried in a suitable container must be on a lead and muzzled. Routes to each hotel are in our transfer guide.

Animals at Munich Airport

Munich Airport requires animals to be on a leash at all times. The public areas outside each terminal have green spaces where animals can relieve themselves. Behind security, relief areas are in Terminal 1 in Hall C1 West (Schengen) and in the Terminal 1 Pier on Levels 03 and 04 (non-Schengen).

Assistance dogs

Moxy and the Marriott accept service animals without a fee or documentation, NH charges no fee for guide dogs, and the Premier Inns accept assistance dogs. For Novotel, ibis Styles and Atomis, booking sites list service animals as exempt from fees. Munich Airport lets assistance animals use its relief areas and offers care support during layovers through its service for passengers with reduced mobility.
